So I caved in to the temptation......

of Cadbury's chocolate! Having not had any for a good week/10-days and trying to eat off a tiny budget; I just got too hungry so, after checking prices in Big W, Coles & Woolworths I purchased a rather lovely 250g bar of CDM 'Black Forest' choc......yummy Aussie CDM avec cherry jelly & biscuity pieces.

Now I had it mind for some time to blog about CDM since there are a substantial variety of flavours available down under as opposed to UK:

  • Triple Decker = Milk, White & Dark choc
  • Mint Crisp = obvious
  • Peppermint Snack = like Caramel but with peppermint rather than caramel inside!
  • Top-deck = Milk & white chocolate
  • Chocolate Mousse = like Whispa's used to be in UK
  • Cherry Ripe = cherries, coconut & old gold choc...mmmmmm!
  • Breakaway = think CDM version of kit-kats
  • Marble = white/milk choc with hazelnut
  • Rocky Road = nuts, jellies, milk choc
  • Fruity delight (or something) = milk choc with pineapple/strawberry/rasberry and other fruit flavours/goo inside......ONE OF THE BEST!!
  • Rasberry & milk + white choc = interesting, in the same way as the creme egg bars were in UK
  • Even Freddo bars come in milk, strawberry, pineapple and a 4th flavour!

Of course I havent tried ALL of the above (just the majority!), and bear in mind the above are in ADDITION to the normal UK flavours of plain, Caramel (with 'lo' stuck on the end here for some reason), nut, fruit & nut & Dream.

Oh also, for Heidi & Jen, I also spotted that Kinnerton nut-free chocolate that you eat!

Mmmmmmm Chocolate!!
